SUMMER CAMP 2024
Registration begins Wednesday, March 13th at 10am
Nurtury will offer Five summer camp options between June 10th and August 2nd. Camp hours are either 9-3:30 or 9-5 * we are not offering 9-12:30 for 2024 Summer Camp. Camps are offered a la carte and you may sign up for one to five camps to fit your schedule (choosing one week during a two week camp is not an option)! Children must be registered at Nurtury (for the current 2023-2024 or upcoming 2024-2025 school year) in order to attend Summer Camps.
Nurtury Summer Camp is open to children, ages 2 years old to entering TK (must turn five 9/2/24 or after). The age exception is the VBS afternoon camp, which is open to all students enrolled in the 23-24 school year (2-PK). Space is limited, so register early! Registration opens Wednesday, March 13th at 10am. A link will be sent to registered families in March and you can also access the registration through Brightwheel.
Camp mornings are filled with weekly fun themed activities! Outside time, art, science, games, age appropriate school readiness and special snacks are all part of the daily curriculum. A healthy midmorning and afternoon snack is provided. Napping is offered for younger campers that are enrolled in 3:30 or 5:00pm camps.
Each child will require a separate registration. Children will be grouped by age where possible. Siblings may/may not be in the same classroom (age dependent).
Online Registration will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Once a camp is full, a wait list will be started. Incomplete or unpaid registrations will be deleted (please complete Registration and payment in one sitting!)
Camp VBS (5 days) 12:30-5:00 – $350 (MVPC VBS is a separate Registration/Fee for the week from 9-Noon)
June 10-June 14/A DAY AT THE BEACH
Join us after MVPC Vacation Bible School for an afternoon camp! Splishy splashy fun! The Nurtury camp is open to all students (2-PK) that were registered for the 2023-2024 school year (not open to new enrollment for 24-25). If your child attends MVPC VBS (must be 4 by 9/1/2024), you can sign them up for this extended day and Nurtury staff will pick up your child from VBS and transition to the Nurtury Camp. If your child is not old enough or you would just like to register for the afternoon (no VBS), you can drop off at Nurtury at 12:30pm. Send a lunch! Napping is available for our younger campers. MVPC VBS Registration for volunteer’s children begins 1/21 and General Registration will begin March 1. Nurtury Camp 1 (9 days – No camp on 6/19) 9-3:30 – $850 and 9-5:00 – $960
June 17-June 21/OCEAN EXPLORERS
Travel to our rich and amazing ocean environments from the coral reefs to the artic ocean. Learn about amazing sea creatures and the deep blue seas!
June 24-June 28/WATER WORKS
Have fun with all kinds of water play and splashy learning. Learn about mixing water colors to make new colors! Explore the importance of water in ponds, rivers and oceans!
Nurtury Camp 2 (8 days – No camp on 7/4—5) 9-3:30 – $755 and 9-5:00 – $855
July 1-July 3/PLANES, TRAINS, and AUTOMOBILES
All things transportation and wheels! Drive the school bus or build a fantastic train track. We will have lots of “wheel” fun this week!
July 8 – July 12/OFF to SPACE
Take off into space! Explore planets and pretend you are an astronaut and control a rocketship!
Nurtury Camp 3 (10 days) 9-3:30 – $940 and 9-5:00 – $1065
July 15-July 19/JUNGLE EXPLORERS
Have fun in the Jungle, learning about the sounds, creatures and habitats that occupy the lush jungles! Pretend to camp, live amongst the wild creatures!
JULY 22-JULY 26/WE DIG DINOS!
Travel back in time! You might even see a dinosaurs roaming the hallways and classrooms as we explore these prehistoric creatures and their habitats.
Nurtury Camp 4 (5 days) 9-3:30 – $470 and 9-5:00 – $535
July 29-August 2/Busy Bodies – Music and Movement!
It will be a Busy body week, as we explore music, instruments, dance any tumbling.
Cancellations by 4/12/24 are 50% refundable. Cancellations 4/13/24 and after are not refundable for any reason.
New students should turn in all Nurtury paperwork by May 15, 2024.
