Miss Carmen grew up in Berkeley and received her Bachelors in Ethnic Studies and Masters in Intercultural Communication from St. Mary’s College.  Miss Carmen has been teaching preschool since 2022, while simultaneously working for many Lamorinda families and attending DVC/LMC to earn her Early Childhood Education units!  Miss Carmen loves communicating with children and families and creating a safe and inclusive environment for her students.  Carmen is a world traveler, having visited over 15 countries!  She now loves calling Moraga HOME!  When she is not at Nurtury, Carmen loves hanging out with her family, kitty “Dazzling Diva” and collecting sneakers!
